The back, with its exquisite bookmatching work, and the sides, are made from Indian rosewood. The Alhambra 8P is a fine example of how the luthiers at Alhambra Guitars take into consideration every last detail in their guitar-construction. It features a light nitro lacquer finish allowing the wood to vibrate even more and achieve an even greater sound.  It has an internal ebony reinforcement in the neck of the guitar.
