The Alhambra VILAPLANA FLAMENCA represents the highest range of Alhambra flamenco guitars. They're built entirely by hand by a small and select group of luthiers at Alhambra guitars and are unique instruments, each with its own personality. Mengual y Margarit and Jose Maria Vilaplana are flamenco guitars which were baptized with the names of the master luthiers of the firm. These guitars are the result of years of research, patient learning and development of novel techniques of sound efficiency. The Jose Maria Vilaplana Flamenca model is an exquisite design, made from the highest quality materials. As a result of the demanding process of construction, this guitar model is not only aesthetically pleasing; its highest virtues are revealed when it is put into action: a surrounding and powerful sound, robust and delicate at the same time in staccato, arpeggio or whilst strumming. Solid "AAA" German Spruce top, back and sides of Spanish cypress of the highest quality, luxury ebony fingerboard. Special flamenco dimensions, special neck with ebony reinforcement.
