David Duyos short scale eco guitar

Eco-friendly replica of Antonio de Torres short scale guitar model.

In this model, David Duyos has replicated the curious short-scale instrument of the Almeria master (it would correspond to the SE 117 model, according to José Luis Romanillos' reference), but replacing the woods used in the original model with non-endangered species. The objective achieved with this guitar is to demonstrate that a good sound can be achieved with woods that do not endanger biodiversity.

Due to the reduced dimensions of this model, one could conjecture that the original was designed as a children's guitar, or as a travel guitar. Both functions can be developed with this model in a remarkable way. At the same time, the sound of the instrument has an incomparable vintage character. Made entirely by hand by the luthier David Duyos, each guitar is unique, with its own character. Entirely finished in Goma laca (shellac).
